I have taught Global History at Hudson Falls High School since 1987. Everything on this web site pertains to history, the courses I teach and how the study of history can enrich your life. This site is designed primarily for my students, but I have many projects to share with fellow teachers, parents, and the community at large. Naturally, my ultimate goal is to provide something of lasting value to students of all age levels.
Currently, I am developing a
comprehensive look at our region's local colonial history and the important
archaeological projects relating to this era.

In the coming months, as my students train for the new NYS Global History and Geography Regents, they will find additional pointers from me and others for writing the new essays, as well as peer generated tutorials with sample Regents questions at the end. They will also find links to cool web sites with subject matter that I predict will be focused on in January and June.
Finally, the Hudson Falls High School World War II Living History Project was undertaken a few years ago to collect the first hand accounts of our World War II veterans, to bring their experiences alive in the classroom, and to forge a link between two generations of Americans before this precious national resource is gone forever. We hope that their stories will live on.
