Student council raised over $2000.00 for Operation Santa Claus by having a senior auction that was very successful.  Seniors and a number of teachers were auctioned off. the 2000.00 was enough to buy presents for 39 families.

 

*We collected money during each homeroom for a two week period.  There was an ice cream party for the class that collected the most money.

       

*sponsored a Harvest Ball Semi Formal with all proceeds going toward Operation Santa Claus

*sponsored a blood drive in October

*food drive to feed needy families for Thanksgiving

* funded various organizations:

        busses for health classes to visit the AIDS quilt

        expenses of History Week

        prizes for Math Club

        paid for a student to go on the NYC freshman trip

        outdoor club bus expenses
